DRUG DESCRIPTION
INDICATIONS
The use of boric acid as an antiseptic is shown to etiotrop (destruction of pathogen microorganisms) treatment of various infectious processes of the ear, these include:
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION : MECHANISM OF ACTION
Boric acid is a powerful antiseptic. It kills bacteria by various processes of coagulation and denaturation (violation of the tertiary structure of a protein molecule) of the intracellular proteins. Boric acid is active against a variety of bacteria, viruses, fungi and ectoparasites (lice, mites).

The drug is used for external application. AGer application to the mucosa or the skin, it has a pharmacological activity and destroys microorganisms cause infectious diseases. Boric acid may be partially absorbed into the systemic circulation
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
The use of boric acid is contraindicated in various pathological and physiological states of the body, which include:
PREGNANCY & LACTATION
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
DOSAGE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
As directed by the Physician or The recommended dose is two drops to the affected ear every three – four hours.
