COMPOSITION:

Each film coated tablet contains:-

Amoxicillin Trihydrate                                            BP

eq. to Amoxicillin                                                       500mg

Dilutes potassium Clavulanate                        BP

Eq. to Clavulanic Acid                                              125mg

EXCERTION

RAVYCLAV-625 is eliminated primarily unchanged through the renal route. Approximately 50-78 % of amoxicillin and  25-40% of clavulanic acid are excreted unchanged in urine within the first 6 hrs. after administration.

SIDE-EFFECTS:

Sensitivity reactions are more likely to occur in individuals who have previously demonstrated hypersensitivity to penicillins and in those with a history of allergy, asthma, hay fever or urticaria.

2.The hypersensitivity reactions reported are erythematous maculopapular rashes, urticaria, fever and joint pains. Anaphylactic shock may occur.

3.Nausea, heartburn, vomiting and diarrhoea.
