Albendazole USP 400MG
Excipients q.s.
DESCRIPTION:
Albendazole is a broad spectrum anthelmintic. In addition to its vermicidal properties, Albendazole has been found to have both ovicidal and larvicidal in man.
INDICATIONS:
Albendazole is used in the treatment of single or mixed intestinal infections caused by Enterobius vermicularis , trichuris trichiura,Ascaris lumbri-codies,Ancylostoma duodenale And Necator americanus ,Strongly stercoralis.
Interactions
Cimetidine,praziquantel and dexamethasone have been reposted to increase the plasma levels of the albendazole metabolite responsible for the systemic efficacy of the product.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
A few cases of gastrointestinal discomfort and headache have been reported , but no definite relationship with the drug has been shown.

Store in a cool & dry place below 30°C. Protect from light.
